Turn your WhatsApp into a mini shop with a catalog and orders
16 March 2025
Many small sellers already use WhatsApp to reach customers. With WhatListing, you can turn that same chat app into a mini shop—without building a website or installing extra tools. We offer two simple options: catalogs (multi-item lists where buyers select what they want and message you) and business pages (product pages where customers place orders via WhatsApp).
Catalogs: sell multiple items from one link
Create a catalog, add items with photos and prices, and share a single link. Buyers see your full list, tick the items they want, and tap "Buy via WhatsApp" to send you a pre-filled message with their selection and the total. No back-and-forth typing—they tell you exactly what they want in one go.
Catalogs work great for house clearances, second-hand bundles, small product lists, or anything you sell in multiples. You don't need an account to create one; just fill in the form, add your WhatsApp number, and share the link on Facebook, in groups, or anywhere you already chat with customers.
Business and vendor pages: products and orders
If you run a boutique, make-to-order business, local vendor, or food seller, you can create a business page with categories and products. Customers browse on the page and place orders via WhatsApp. You manage orders from "My listings" after signing in.
Creating a business page requires a free account so you can edit your products and see orders in one place. Once it's live, you still get a single link to share; customers don't need to sign up to order.
Why this works
There's no app to download, no domain to buy, and no hosting to set up. You get a shareable link and ready-made WhatsApp messages so buyers can contact you in one tap. You keep full control of payment and delivery in the chat—no extra platform taking a cut or dictating how you sell.
If you're already selling in WhatsApp groups or on social media, a catalog or business page simply makes your offer clearer and easier to act on. Create once, share everywhere, and let the replies and orders come to your WhatsApp.
